The KDF Mission is to encourage, promote, and financially assist Kiwanis Clubs and sponsored organizations within the Wisconsin – Upper Michigan Kiwanis District, including development of special projects and activities.
What the KDF Does. The KDF Board of Directors meets at least quarterly to review contributions made, and award Grants, Scholarships and other funds according to its policies. While primarily awarding grant funds to Kiwanis Clubs for worthy projects beyond the typical means of those clubs, KDF funds other grants as well.
The KDF is a Member of the “Kiwanis Family” of Organizations. As part of the “Kiwanis Family”, KDF seeks to assist Kiwanis Clubs, Circle K Clubs, Key Clubs, and Builders Clubs in the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District through grants, scholarships, and support of worthy projects; as well as by serving as a tax exempt repository for bequests and gifts made in support of Kiwanis programs and projects. KDF also financially assists worthy programs and projects of other, non-Kiwanis community organizations whose objects and goals are consistent with those of the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District of Kiwanis International.
